Whew! The last few days have been a bit intense, rich in texture and terrifying with possibilities. The End first --- everyone is safe and sound, at home tonight.

Quick medical update: Saw doctor on Tuesday who ordered a MRI. Her theory is I have a torn muscle/ligament. My sister says the preferred treatment now is full physical therapy. Interesting, as I had a conversation with a person who has just gone through the exact same thing in recent months and the therapy helped her immensely.  MRI is scheduled ( Read more... )

We left Memphis on Jun 19th and arrived in Seattle June 24th. Yes, this *is* a real big country and it takes time to drive across it. My husband did 99% of the driving. I drove maybe two hours of the whole trip.

We saw some incredible country. The highlight was the time we spent with Jenny's Aunt Flicka and her husband, Ernie, in Wyoming. The drive ( Read more... )
