I finally got my discs of U2: Medium, Rare, and Remastered last night! Woo-hoo. The Edge calls the discs a sketch book of songs, which sounds right. It's fun to see where songs like "Vertigo" (Native Son), "All Becasue of You" (same title, different lyrics), and "Xanax and Wine" (Fast Cars) could have gone. Like viewing different cuts of a movie. I imagine it will kind of be like how Coldplay put out Viva La Vida and then Prospekt March. Only hopefully BIGGER.

For me, it's back. Those zooromancer visions of the future Achtung, Baby used to induce are here again with No Line on the Horizon. The title track, which kicks off the album, makes me feel like I've been tossed into some new reality, some bizarre future.
