Cordell Was Right
@U2 has a blog post about the new upcoming U2 album...or the lack thereof, and the flip-floppery that's surrounded it for about three years now. For example: Bono suggested "a more meditative album on the theme of pilgrimage" might come out the same year as No Line on the Horizon. Damn, that would've been sweet. Then we heard 2010. Then we heard from a producer and the band's manager that it'd happen this summer, but Edge pretty much nixed that. We'll be lucky if it comes out at all this year, or even next year.
In short: I'm happy to be patient. But it's hard not to get disappointed when it feels like people are telling you something that's just not true.
