Emma's on vacation visiting some friends and their new baby (Hello, Plewas!) and the kids and I are doing our own thing at home. Aside from all of us missing Emma, it's gone pretty well. (This has nothing to do with the title of the post.)

Drip drip drip.

So, I finished listening to Gene Wolfe's The Book of the New Sun today. (I'd read it once before.) Just. Wow.

It would've been a horrible mess of a listen if it had been read poorly, but Jonathan Davis did an unbelievably sublime job reading it, and is in no small part what kept me plugged into all four books.
