Can I go back to bed?
Can I go back to bed? Not because today is "bad" or anything but because I'm sick. Legitimately sick. It's called, "I sang baba nam kevalam kiirtan for nine hours last week, three of which took place on New Year's Eve, I was surrounded by a ton of people and thus picked up their germs, and I'm going from extreme cold to CA weather, and I'm sleep-deprived, and I did a lot of flying." If you wanted to brief about it you could call it a sore throat.
I wanted to call in sick today but didn't because I think that sends a bad message to my boss. It makes it seem like I want to extend my vacation by using a sick day. That's not a message I want to convey so I'm here. At work. With a sore throat. =/
