Things are mostly going well for me. I've finally cleared some floor space and started using Wii Fit. I'm in bad enough shape where I find it challenging, and for now I'm just trying to make myself use it every day, and to increase the time I spend on it by a few minutes every day. Goal for May: Read at least five books. So far I'm doing good; almost halfway through the second book of the month. Reward if goal is met: I get to buy more books! I'm still annoyed that I have yet to get my greedy hands on Seanan McGuire's "A Local Habitation" and I'm itching for the continuation of the story. Almost no knitting at all the last couple of days. Something seemed wrong with my current socks and I tinked several rounds and still couldn't find anything actually wrong. I guess I'll just knit back up again.. later. Kind of bored with those socks now ( Read more... )

Yesterday, I finally got the adapter plug I needed to use my Wii with UK power supply. I was too exhausted from the day before, so I didn't try it out until today. It works. Played Wii Sports for a while, had fun. Worked up a sweat in Wii Boxing. My grandparents' TV kind of sucks, though, it would be so much better to play it on my monitor at home ( Read more... )
