Brief update.
Yesterday, I finally got the adapter plug I needed to use my Wii with UK power supply. I was too exhausted from the day before, so I didn't try it out until today. It works. Played Wii Sports for a while, had fun. Worked up a sweat in Wii Boxing. My grandparents' TV kind of sucks, though, it would be so much better to play it on my monitor at home. So I'll be buying the StarTech.com Video Game Jockey one of these days. It would be a bit cheaper to just buy a 3rd-party Wii VGA cable, but with the VGJ I can hook up my PS2 to my monitor as well. And I do occasionally get the urge to roll some katamaris.
As for the cat, she is very active. She took two mice yesterday. It may be a bit early to tell, but I think she has started to get some of her voice back. She still sounds very pitiful, but at least she is capable of producing sound at all.
