I was thinking / planning to add the likes of Wolverine, Terminator Salvation and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen to my DVD collection. I saw GI Joe: Rise of Cobra (on my own again) at lunch time. The screen was empty. The film was good, and action packed. For some reason Inglourious Basterds was in the next screen (preview?).

Trailers for Dorian Gray, Sherlock Holmes and District 9. Not forgetting another viewing of Orange's Juliet Lewis commentery ad thingy.

I only sent the other one last Monday, and the replacement has come today.

So far ... The Mummy Returns seems to play through on the computer without a problem. Will have to play everything on every disc just to make sure it is ok. Did see some marks on MR disc 2 though.

Will be getting a replacement of The Mummy Legends.

Hope I have NO issues with ANY of the discs on the computer esp The Mummy Returns.

This lunchtime, I sent The Mummy Legends boxset back to replace it, due to the problem I had with The Mummy Returns disc 1. Hopefully (it it works out), all 5 discs on the replacement should be ok - fingers crossed.

It was freepost so didn't have to pay anything but did get a receipt / proof of postage.

Just came back from The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor at the AMC with crazy_craig. I've got a throbbing headache after it. I felt tired during the film.

Finally finished watching The Mummy Returns DVD. All was going fine until about 48 minutes in, where it was skipping / pausing / stopping. Tried to clean the disc (first with a DVD cleaning fluid, then with Skip Doctor). Ended up putting rest of the movie on the DVD player attached to the TV, rather than the computer ( Read more... )

Just placed an order on DVD.co.uk for the From Dusk Till Dawn trilogy (never seen 2 or 3) and The Mummy Legends boxset (The Mummy, The Mummy Returns and The Scorpion King). May in the future buy online The Scorpion King 2 (out in a few weeks) and eventually The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (which I should see at the cinema at the weekend -
