yay! I got to trick-or-treat this year afterall!

( super hardee-haw-haw LJ halloweeny meme. I did it twice to get most of you to come to my door! what'd YOU give me??? )

this weekend, I did a lot of cleaning around the ol' homestead, mostly so that we could put up some halloweeny decorations. I'm not really sure why, but this year, I'm kinda in the halloweeny spirit.

in our box of halloween decorations I found some pretty funny photos... from 1988, when I was but 4.5 years old, and my sister was 8.

I dug up my old esmeralda costume to deck myself out in for the trick-or-treaters, but we peobably won't even get any. well, maybe we will, cuz bob's still not back, and the door is easier to see with him gone. dad went to the trouble again this year of making little tiny goodie bags, which kinda breaks my heart, cuz we always have so many left ( Read more... )
