turns out, vanessa totally adores the dangerous lives of altar boys, so we all (she and I and mari) watched my dvd of it in the living room tonight. hooray!! but, the universal remote isn't so great for dvd controls, so we somehow had it stuck on spanish subtitles the whole time. but it was okay!
