Santa came around this evening on the bushfire truck. Except, this year was a little different. Santa was riding Puff the Tragic Waggon instead of Puff the Magic Wagon. Puff the Tragic is a 1940s fire truck that the bushfire brigade have restored. She's beautiful, but did almost run out of steam climbing up our hill. It was hilarious ( Read more... )

Bit of a drama in our neck of the woods this arvo/tonight. Mum called me at work to say that a tree had come down in the next side street, snapping 3 power poles. Dad said he'd been down in the garage doing woodwork, when he heard a crack and thought he'd snapped the piece of pine he was ruling. He went out and said that the power lines right ( Read more... )

Watched the Carols tonight. Marina Prior gorgeous as always (and not pregnant!), and Debra Byrne's little girl was so cute! And for a 5 year old, not a nerve showing.
