When the sun is shining, as it is today, I feel very privileged to be living here.  All my weekend chores are done and I have the rest of the weekend for enjoying myself.  Later I'm off to the beach and then a friend is coming round for dinner, bliss!

I've been offered the job in Guernsey.  Some formalities still to arrange, like somewhere to live but it looks like I might be starting on 1st May.  I have so much planning to do, which pleases me greatly.  I also have a buyer for my car and have ordered a bike.  Things are looking rosy.  I'll post properly at some point, but just wanted to share ( Read more... )

I started out for Southampton at 5.30am on Wednesday.
