In other news.....

We went to St Malo on Monday, where it rained and rained.  I managed to not get my steak frites again, but it was better than missing the ferry.  Lots of people were ill on the ferry home, it must have been quite rough.

I had a short day at work today and as summer seems to have finally made an appearance I went down to Fermain Bay.  I lay in the sun reading my book, then had a swim in the sea, which wasn't too cold at all. On Friday afternoon, I went to Petit Bot, which is a lovely sheltered South facing sandy bay.  There is a nice little tapas cafe thing too, which looked lovely.  I sat and read my book for a while, dipped my pinkies in the water and watched the sun go down.  It loved it here but the main downside is that it is very popular at the weekend and the ( Read more... )
