When you take 2 weeks off from the gym, don't even try to do half the power routine you did before you left. My legs hurt so bad I was on painkillers this week. My ligaments and tendons were so weak it felt like my knees were gonna snap when I walked around. The funny thing is, it didn't feel bad during the exercise. I felt pretty strong.

I went back to the gym for the first time in 2 weeks. I left strong as a horse and came back weak as a veal calf. I can push up weight but it is shaky. The good news is I used the grippers today and my hands are still strong. They may even be stronger since they had a chance to heal.

An elderly gentleman explained to me at the gym. Right after I busted a rock bottom PR front squat (315). I made him repeat because I couldn't hear him the first time over the death metal growls of the pod. Hilarious!

My gym was closed when I arrived there this morning. It seems the douche-bag who was supposed to open at 5:30 didn't show. However, I waited just enough time for the handy-man to open the doors for me. I didn't get to workout until 7:30 (usually 7:00). Usually, the geriatric patients are leaving when I show up. I pulled big today 365 6 times DL with nothing in my stomach.
I have been working the OLY lifts piece by piece, and it is helping.
The squat is rising as well (315x7).
