One of the joys of this season is a steady supply of those crunchy, tasty little seeds to be found inside pumpkins and whatnot. I love the smell of them roasting to perfection in my oven. Not so nice is removing them from gutted pumpkins. The slimy, stringy flesh that smells...well, smells odd, and chaps my hands. This I am willing to put up with

Several days ago, I casually posted to Facebook that I had had Brussels sprouts and roasted taters for dinner. The responses were interesting as there appears to be no halfway ground on sprouts: people either love or hate them. Violently. Which got me thinking as to why...and I recalled that several weeks ago I bought some frozen sprouts to try.

You will need:
2 dozen tea spoons Make certain they are different from household silverware as The Kid will clain a spoon for personal use. Trust me. 2 large bags chocolate chips

Well our second Thanksgiving dinner went well. Our friends left well-fed and happy after much delicious food, sci fi movies and Mario Party on the Wii. I was especially happy because I saw our friend Derek, who I now see a couple times a year if I'm lucky, so that was a nice unexpected bonus. Our other three friends who came I see on a fairly
