today was a good day.  for one thing, i went to work thinking i had a huge project to finish in time for a meeting with the accountant (from nyc) on saturday.  turns out we don't have to have all the financials done by then after all - whew! - so i finished january and that was enough.  so not only did i only work four hours today, but i don't have ( Read more... )

the good news is i figured out how to fix the little mess i created in my story when i added something that didn't quite work where i put it.  i surgically removed it and saved it for later and restitched the story back together in a way that makes sense.  the bad news is, i can't seem to do anything else with words tonight, lol, and i only wrote ( Read more... )

i've not mentioned here that the upshot of  my serving on jury duty and answering the question honestly was that my unemployment claim form for the week was kicked and triggered a phone interview to determine my further eligibility.  ( read more... )
