I saw John Mayer last night and it was amazing.
It was at the Carling Academy in Brixton (which is a pretty dodgy area) and I'd queued up a couple of hours in advance so I was fourth from the barrier. I saw the Sex and the City film. It was actually surprisingly good, considering the awful reviews it has received. I had never really seen much of the series but I knew the characters and I really enjoyed the film. I love a capella music.
I'm in a mini a cappella quintet - a group of us decided to be the female answer to a barber shop choir and - you guessed it! - named ourselves The Hairdressers. Lol, as you can see it is a very title.

My brother and his friend Soraiya have just finished recording and mixing their album 'Find Me There' and you really must check it out.
It's described by Soraiya as 'Acousticcy latinny jazzy goodness!' and I am a huge fan of the album.
There's a song for every mood and technically and musically, it is gorgeous!

It's from the film Amélie which is definitely a must-see. Cinematography-wise, it's gorgeous but it also has the most fantastic and touching plot line and it will seriously brighten up your day if you watch it.

I wish I'd be alive when Pink Floyd were properly around. They're such a phenomenal band and they've really changed music history.
Maybe that does sound a bit pretentious but, you've got to admit, it's true.
I know that we have some epic bands at the moment but I don't think anyone will ever be able to rival them or even compare to them.
