Sucks. Man, oh man, does it suck. I'm three hours away from Andy, have no job, and am bored off my ass.

What does Lucas do? He has Vader stumble around and ask about Padme before going "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" upon learning that he killed her. The very insult to the idea of Vader and to James Earl Jones himself...it was painful to watch ( ... )

Maybe I'm just another one of the mindless idiots that constitute the masses, but I actually liked the movie. I could tell you why I thought it was better than I and II, but those points are obviously moot to you. I'm not saying that certain parts weren't silly or unexplained or contradictory, but to bash it as the "destroyer" of the whole story is unnecessary. Do you really feel better for ripping it apart?

Meh. I wanted to like it cuz it's Star Wars. I thought it would be shit cuz I didn't care for the first two prequels (Actually I liked Epi I because the good outweighed the bad...but then hated Epi II altogether*shrugs*). But I honestly think if I had no expectations whatsoever, I still woulda hated it. I wouldn't have cared as much, but I woulda hated it and forgotten about it very quickly.

I guess I can't just have a movie with good visuals. I either need good plot, good acting or both.

My mom told me today about how someone she talked to told her that Lucas originally had a much more elaborate plot and actually hired someone else to go over the dialogue and dumb it down. If that's true...and I wouldn't be surprised, given the level of dialogue...that would piss me off more than anything. I mean, this movie had so much potential...and to think that they deliberately dumbed it down?

Anyway, sorry that work sucks. I have to go job hunting tomorrow...again...and that will suck as well. Is your summer going well

The role of Anakin was better this movie. He was less whiny, and more evil. He did switch sides REALLY fast though. One minute he's holding a lighsabre to Palpatine's throat and the next he's kneeling to him. Perhaps there were deleted scenes ( ... )
