What does Lucas do? He has Vader stumble around and ask about Padme before going "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" upon learning that he killed her. The very insult to the idea of Vader and to James Earl Jones himself...it was painful to watch.

The third thing is that this movie destroys the Jedi. They are portrayed as weak spirtually, mentally, and physically. They are transformed from enlightened beings guided by the Force to a bunch of arrogant, rash, *blind* idiots whose only real talent is swinging a lightsaber every other second. The Jedi Masters are gunned down by CLONES! There is no Jedi hunt. Vader kills a bunch of children while clones shoot Jedi Masters from behind. Only Yoda actually sees it coming and NONE of them actually do anything about Anakin even when they keep talking about the dangers of Palpatine and blah blah blah...

It's disgusting. And not only that but ever Jedi ethic is spit upon. At the end, Obi-Won, all upset and betrayed, stands and watches as Anakin is SET ON FIRE! Why wouldn't he just kill him out of mercy? Where is the Jedi calm, the rationality? And where is the Sith hatred for weakness? Dying, Anakin is saved by Palpatine. Why?

And yet the most painful thing? People liked the movie. Not critics, *people*. They are even saying it was the best one. I honestly don't know what to say except that I think time will tell on this movie...all the prequals, but especially this one.
