[Translation] Johnnys-net Love Triangle Excerpts
Continuing the KKL-themed translation from:

This part is excerpts having to do with the Kouichi-Tsuyoshi-Okada love triangle (with cameo mention of Nagase).
Notes:
- Some of these are based on fans interpretation, so I try to provide video links for your own judgement. =P
- (Bracketed) are the original poster's comments. [Square-bracketed] and * italicized asterisks are my own translation notes. The numbering refers to the forum posts, for back-reference.

#7-54 Johnny's Sports Day 1999(?).10.10

* The scene described below was not in this video. Assuming the year is correct, I guess either it was cut out or it wasn't factual.
Kouichi was on White Team; Tsuyoshi and Okada were on Red Team.
At the baseball event, Kouichi as usual was the pitcher, but he didn't perform well that year, and was substituted out later on. Tsuyoshi wasn't playing.
While Kouichi was pitching, Okada was up at bat twice. Kouichi's first pitch almost hit Okada's head, but luckily Okada dodged. Kouichi laughed sheepishly.
The second time, though Okada dodged, the ball still hit his back. Kouichi's laugh looked a little evil(?).
When the camera filmed Tsuyoshi, he half-jokingly scolded Kouichi, "Why did you hit my Okada?"
Kouichi gave him an apologetic laugh, and Tsuyoshi could only sit back down.

[In this segment, normally the chef would bring out the meal, but the regulars would get to eat only if the correct card was drawn. For this episode, instead of the chef, Okada made an appearance. The wrong card had been drawn, so the regulars were blaming Okada for not getting to eat, but Tsuyoshi, who usually complained the most, was just laughing.]
Regulars: "What was that?"
Tsu: "So this is how it turned out." *drags Okada to sit beside him*
Regulars: "Why did it out turn this way!"
Kou: *to Okada* "You should at least apologize since we didn't get to eat!"
Regulars: "Yeah..."
Okada: "I intended to let everyone eat!"
Kou: "But it didn't succeed."
Tsu: "What do you think you come here for?"
Kou: "What do you come for?"
Okada: "Oh, you changed the topic wonderfully! Indeed I have something to say."
Tsu: "So what is your agenda this time?"
Kou: 'We've been asking that since earlier."
Okada: "'My Gyu!'..." (the name of this show)
Kou: *points at the guests' sofa* "Guests are supposed to sit over there." (The prince is burning with jealousy.)
Okada: "But I like it here, isn't that fine?" (Junichi, you're really something!)
Kou: "But how will you talk [while sitting] like this?"
The other guest: "Come over here."
Okada: "Then I'll go over there." *moves to the guests' sofa*
Tsu: "Go over there already."
Okada: "This time I come to 'My Gyu!'..."
Someone: "You want to say that no matter what?"
Okada: "...to promote my new drama, 'Shin: Ore-tachi no Tabi'." [New: Our Journey]
Tsu: "Wait a minute, just now you said 'tabi ... shin', didn't you?"
Okada: "I didn't!"
Kou: "You did, pu~pu~pu."
Okada: "I didn't, [I said] 'Ore-tachi no Tabi: Shin'." [Our Journey: New]
Tsu: "You just turned it this way." *makes the upside-down gesture*
Okada: "I was mistaken."
Kou: "You were."
Okada: "It will start on the 28th. 'Shin: Ore-tachi no Tabi' will be broadcast."
Tsu: "Is it that sort of thing*?"
Okada: "What are you saying, everyone should watch it!"
Kou: "Everyone please watch it."
Tsu: "Come, sit over here." *pats the spot beside him*
Kou: "Isn't it fine for him to stay as a guest?" (The flame of jealousy continues to burn.)
Tsu: "But he is done with his business as a guest."
[From here the conversation turned to the other guest.]

They had a lot of guests for this special episode. Towards the end, Tsuyoshi said it had gone on for so long that he'd reached the stage when he felt like hugging Okada.
Afterwards, V6 made a surprise appearance at the very end, when they suddenly ran up the stage. Okada jumped on Tsuyoshi and hugged him, then the two fooled around on stage for a while. The fans said Kouichi looked very unhappy. Then Inocchi hugged him, and the unhappy expression wasn't visible anymore.

Kouichi asked Tsuyoshi if there was anything specific he would like to do in 2000.
Tsuyoshi looked at Kouichi and said, "Let's move in together!"
Kouichi to fans: "Then 2000 will be the year when KinKi will be invincible!" (saying diplomatic words out of embarrassment)
Tsuyoshi to Kouichi: "It's already 2000. Let's get married, then. If not, I want to try living together."
Kouichi: "But you keep saying 'Okada', 'Okada'."
Reportedly Tsuyoshi even had a "Junichi [is my] life"* flag on his back.
Their argument in the con went roughly like this:
Kouichi asked whom Tsuyoshi would choose between him and Okada, and was very angry when Tsuyoshi chose Okada.
Tsuyoshi got angry too, and asked Kouichi, "Then, between me and Nagase, whom will you choose?"
Kouichi was silent, then replied in a small voice, "Nagase."
(It must be tough on Nagase and Okada to be caught between these two as arrow shields.)
* Original term "准一命". According to my sources, "X 命" is usually written on cheerleading/spirit banners (ref. Slam Dunk manga) to mean die-hard fans of X (something to the effect of "X is as important as my life" / "I will give my life for X"). Please correct me if I'm wrong.

In the past concerts, fans were allowed to throw gifts etc onto the stage.
Kouichi was in high spirits, but immediately turned upset when he saw someone threw Okada-uchiwa on stage.
Tsuyoshi looked quite happy though (laugh).

Once when KinKi were filming at an outside location, Kouichi asked, "Who is more important [to you], Okada or I?"
Tsuyoshi wearily replied, "Asking this question again..." then quickly changed the subject.

The radio DJ saw the message and said, "Recently there seemed to be an outbreak of jealousy among the three of you."
Tsuyoshi replied, "Yeah, a dangerous love triangle. When they got together, the topic invariably revolved around me."
(Poor Tsuyoshi, too.)

Host: "It said: 'Don't say unnecessary things.'"
Tsuyoshi admitted: "Yes."
Host: "'I went out to eat with Okada.'"
Tsu: "This one... shouldn't be mentioned!"
Host: "According to our investigation with the fans, the three of you are caught in an outbreak of jealousy."
Tsu: "Yeah... it's a love triangle..."
Host: "Is that true? What kind of relationship is it?"
Tsu: "I am surrounded by Kouichi and Junichi..."
* Contradiction here. I guess it makes more sense from Kouichi to Tsuyoshi?
