So, there's this local small time con coming up in February that's less than an hour away from Green Bay, and I'm all preregged to go! It's probably my last con opportunity before the Bean makes his or her debut in May (ACen's out because it's actually AFTER my due date, but even if it was a bit before, it would be cutting it very close).

- Last Friday, I cut myself some bangs, and I'm so nerdy that cosplay was the reason. I haven't had genuine bangs since age 12ish, and I'm still pretty sure that they are not "me."  - I started sewing the catsuit last weekend! I’m wondering now if I should have gone with 4-way stretch… but maybe it just fits oddly now because I cut it a bit large so as not to get too constrictive in certain areas (ie.shoulder, thigh, and bust, plus the cuffs, because I'd prefer a looser cuff) - probably TOO big, but I can ( Read more... )

I’m doing repetitive facepalms over ACen’s weapon policy, specifically the prop gun rules. I thought maybe I’d been spoiled by Otakon’s rules, but now that I look, Otakon doesn’t allow anything airsoft or with moving parts, period.
