Heading out to NJ next Monday! I got the company laptop almost first thing this morning, just to be sure I had dibs on it before anyone else swooped in. I can’t wait to visit people while I’m there; it makes me feel so social to actually have plans with friends for 3 consecutive nights.
On an odd note, people from the Cherry Hill offices keep trying to get me to NOT stay at the company-price-break hotel that is close to their location, due to “mixed reviews.” So much so, in fact, that I am determined to give it a look because of sheer morbid curiosity. I was already in this mindset when the last person warned me that I ought to consider the Holiday Inn down the road, and what did I say to her? “I like to sample despair now and again.” WTF is wrong with me?! I suspect it was just my iconoclastic tendency to say something weird so the person speaking to me will stop. Still… uh… weird.
Besides that, this weekend I’m going to push to get my catsuit finished along with a good bulk of my belt-thong-thingy, AND I’m going to undertake a little Kanekalon extension-making and dyeing. Should be educational! And in the end if it really fails terribly I can always grit my teeth and get bangs cut in my own hair.
