Last week seemed to speed by incredibly quickly. It might have had something to do with the fact that I had the week before off for GenCon, and then Thursday off work to go with IceSpark to see the Eagles play the Colts. Last week was extremely enjoyable, even if it seemed to zoom by far too quickly. This week was nice even though I worked the dreaded 2 AM shift. I think I was a little more prepared for it this time, and even though I didn’t get enough sleep and my stomach bothered me all week since I was living on coffee, I still had a very good week. I had a very pleasant weekend with lildomino. We finally got a chance to take a few days off to hang out and actually go out on a date that required leaving the house. My anniversary BSGkend with cassiopia was a complete success. After work Saturday I drove to Illinois to see her. I stopped and grabbed food on the way, so when I arrived we could get straight to the BSG! I gave cassiopia kisses hello and snuggles, and got a sweet anniversary card from her. Saturday after work I met up with icespark and hotarugirl and we drove down to see the Bleeding Heartland Rollergirls in Bloomington's first roller derby bout. I just got to see The Nutcracker live for the first time, and it was wonderful.  They combined beauty and humor in a way to make the show both entertaining and gorgeous.  And, of course, the music rocked.  The orchestra was awesome, even when your attention was supposed to be on the dancers.  Getting to see it was a total fluke -- I went up there ( Read more... )
