Juho and The Nutcracker

I just got to see The Nutcracker live for the first time, and it was wonderful.  They combined beauty and humor in a way to make the show both entertaining and gorgeous.  And, of course, the music rocked.  The orchestra was awesome, even when your attention was supposed to be on the dancers.  Getting to see it was a total fluke -- I went up there to see Juho, and her friend who had tickets got sick, so she gave them to us.  It sucks to score on other's misfortune, but it was worth the guilt.  ^_^

Otherwise, it was nice to just spend time with Juho and catch up and snuggle.  Today is our five-year anniversary, and although we don't get to see each other very often, she is very important to me, and I've extremely lucky to have her in my life.  The visit to see her was technically short, since I drove up after work Saturday and had to drive back Saturday night, but since we only ventured out for ballet and food, and spent the entire rest of the time cuddling, sleeping, and talking, the delicious hours of snuggling were more than worth the trip (even without surprise ballet!).

Happy Anniversary, Juho!  I love you!
