I liked this show. It had the feel of the books, but a bit grittier. I like Sam Trammel as Sam Merlotte, I like Anna Paquin as Sookie (even with the gap between her teeth), and I really really liked the addition of Tara as Sookie's best friend but ...

But this week's episode has left a bad impression on me. ( spoilers, you have been warned )
