Last night there was a cat on the middle of my bed when I went up to change. Rabbit food.

Carrots are good for you - this is an "everyone knows" thing. They're good for your eyes; you never see a rabbit with glasses. (Something my mother used to say; never occured to us kids that a rabbit with bad eye-sight wouldn't survive in the wild and besides ... who would put glasses on a rabbit?)

I've been experiencing increased pains lately; waking nights with numb, painful tingling in my hands. I assumed that it was a result of late night snacking, and have made efforts to ... well, cut it out. The snow fell all day yesterday; about 2.5 inches, more or less. We went out to shovel around 4, when it seemed to be slowing but the fall had picked up again by the time we were finishing. Had one piece of KFC chicken - a thigh - last night for dinner (forgot to get a dose of OJ before going over to eat). No bread (and those biscuits looked good too!). No other carbohydrates. I made cookies the day before yesterday (and bread ... and pizza) and in the making, I absent-mindedly added a second egg to the dough. The cookies came out rather more cake-like than usual and my husband (recently diagnosed as pre-diabetic) and my son (who demonstrates more self-control in eating than anyone *I've* ever met) each only had one.
