I first came across this story in the Gaelic language newspaper Mac-Talla - only in Gaelic. Recently, I found the source of the Mac-Talla version in a bilingual (Gaelic & English) tome, published in 1889. This story appeared in the newspaper Mac-Talla on December 16th 1898. I don't know where it came from; perhaps from Sutherland itself? Perhaps Raven is the witch was was in the story.
