Two dragons fledged. This one ... 
I almost wish that it were not a special case, a trophy fail. The name means "bronze ivy blue winged serpent" with the 5 indicating that it is the 4th gen from the cave. When I named it, I wanted a name as descriptive as possible, and I didn't observe the code. Gtbbs - If I had, I would have named him "Gibbs" or even "Leroy Jethro Gibbs" (NCIS).
Speaking of Gibbs, it amuses me to think that he is uncle to Agent Seeley Booth of Bones. Why do I think that? Because Gibb's father and Booth's grandfather are portrayed by the same man - Ralph Waite - John Walton (Sr) of The Waltons.
I fear I made a mistake with the Christmas-theme shimmerscale - I should have influenced the gender, but it hatched before I thought about it - a surprise hatching. I'm not used to having hatchlings and eggs with such high scores. ::: sigh ::: I have a 50-50 chance of it being the right gender.
A project that I'm thinking about lately is the collecting of Na Gurnaidh posts into book form. Just to have them around. But ... I think I've fallen into the winter doldrums - perhaps I should go spend an hour or so in the spare room (where the hydro gardens are) each day for the full-spectrum light. Watching the lettuce grow.
