A wonderful end to our Valentine's weekend today. Shannon and I biked about 12 miles round-trip up to the southern edge of Richmond / northern edge of El Cerrito and had lunch at Carrow's. I saw my doctor today, and she wants me to stay off my feet as much as possible until the pain in my left heel has gone away, and then only increase my activity on my feet slowly, given how bad the pain had gotten. In the meantime, she's got me doing a number of things ( Read more... )

God. Such terrible nausea. Unfortunately, the nephrologist seems to think that this degree of nausea -- unlike the fatigue -- can be caused by my level of kidney disease. I.e., it's unlikely to get better ( Read more... )

So … the neurologist. He said that he thinks I have arthritis in my neck, which can cause "brisk" or "exaggerated" reflexes, but nothing that requires treatment and nothing that would cause this kind of fatigue.
