We had a safe and wonderful trip to Utah. Sunshine the whole way there, snow on the ground for the girls to play in when we got there, and even though there was snow for 2 days before we headed home, we had sunshine all the way for our drive home, as soon as we got out of Salt Lake City on I-80 heading west through Nevada. Just got back last night from a fun weekend on the Oregon Coast. We headed over on Thursday afternoon, arriving at the KOA campground located between Bandon and Port Orford with plenty of daylight to help our friends set up their 5th wheel.

Vacation is much more fun than the real world! We had a great time, the wedding was beautiful, the kids did great in the car both ways (and that's saying a lot - it's 800 miles one way!), the food was good - probably too good in most cases. It was iffy for a while, but it's worked out that we can make our trip south for the wedding of some dear friends of ours. We leave tomorrow, and will be gone for a week. Hopefully we'll have an easy drive - it's always hard on the kids, being 14 hours of actual driving time. There's no way we'd make it in one day, so we stop and spend the night ( Read more... )

First of all - YAY it looks like Hannah is finally ready to start potty training. Yesterday we went to Uhaul to have them look at the hitch they installed on my car. I want to go see my friend in Utah. I need to fly from Medford, Oregon to Salt Lake City. Delta is good because it has a direct flight. United and Alaska/Horizon are the only other airlines that fly from here. I don't care when I go. But I can't seem to find a website that lets me put in where I want to fly without putting in a date of travel ( Read more... )
