Random rant thing...
I feel like ranting some more. =D
First of all, it really gets on my nerves when people accuse Zexion of being "emo". Ok, so his hair covers half of his face, but who cares? His behavior is more of an intelligent, rather manipulative character. Besides, he talks...a lot. Does he ever act like he's one for self abuse? I think not. And sure, he was in the basement of Castle Oblivion, but so were Vexen and Lexaeus. Does that make them emo for hanging in that deep dark basement? >.>
He dresses in black, but so do all the other members! And no, he's not gonna fall over for your stinking self insert. And for your yaoi fantasies, I really doubt he would be the type to enjoy sexual intercourse either. Then again, it's all for interpretation, but when Xigbar leaned on him in FM+, he obviously didn't like it, so he's likely not the type to enjoy physical contact. Really. It'd take a lot to actually get him to enjoy a romance...a LOT.
Though I have seen pairing fics with Zex done decently, such as Shirozora's Zex/Kairi ones, and I'm certain that there are others, a lot of it is just desperate fantasies. .___.
Another thing to rant about: The lack of genfics, or fics that have an actual adventurous plot. Almost everything KH related in the pit involes 1) romance, 2) highschool AUs, 3) oneshots (not that oneshots are necessarily bad). Sure, there are a few good ones I've seen, like That's Why, for example, but c'mon! Where are the fics that capture KH's true nature? It's not a soap opera~
Lastly, Repliku. Where's the love? Sure, he looks like Riku, but that doesn't mean he can't be a good character. He actually has plenty of unused potential. He's a replica, after all, so that alone would probably be a tough life to lead. If anything, writing in his POV would be interesting, because he obviously wasn't pleased with having to look like someone else.
