We've had a brief cold snap with a bit of rain (and snow in the Sierra Nevada), so I re-lit the wood stove for what I hope will be the last time this season. Having the wood stove hot on a Sunday morning, I took the opportunity to use it to cook part of a big breakfast.

I'm feeling somewhat better today, but other than going out for a walk with Lisa after breakfast down to Big R and browsing (but not actually buying anything) and doing some household chores, I've had a quiet day. One of the things I needed to do when I was diagnosed with diabetes last year was adjust my diet. Now as it happens I didn't have to adjust it quite as much as I initially did, during a period when I was more or less scared to eat anything.
