Balmain Fall 2010
There is nothing more I adore in a fashion show than some color, drama, and glitz - and the Balmain show delivered all that in a sexy, anti-minimalist show. Channeling Prince circa Purple Rain and roccoco art, Christophe Decarnin's pieces were decadent down to the high collars and gold leaf detailing that adorned many of the Versailles-inspired (that seemed like a chicer, classier take on the military trend) jackets.
