I want her like Mad
So Mattel just announced that they will be making a set of Barbie Mad Men as a part of their collectible dolls series! They will be making Don, Betty, Roger, and Joan dolls.
I want one of Joan so badly! She's my favorite, even if she is a bitch sometimes. I think it's because of her bitchiness that I like her so much...and that she's 10 billion times cooler that that trampy tramp I-write-poetry-that-I-think-is-great-but-it's-actually-TERRIBLE Jane. I wish the doll had a body similar to Christina Hendricks's, because her body (and everything else about her) is perfection. But then again, it is a Barbie doll, the original Skinny Bitch herself, so we shouldn't hope too much for that.
I think the Don one should come with an airline stewardess, or a waitress, or a random woman he could turn to if he feels the urge to adulter...and Roger should come with some blackface paint, and Betty with a shotgun, and EVERYONE needs a pack of cigarettes and some alcohol.
I would personally like to see a doll of Babyface Pete with his little ridiculous running shorts and $5.00 haircut. But even more than a Pete doll, I want a Sal doll! And he could come with a little art kit and it would be adorable...
