I received my Fox type 2 crutch yesterday.  Just as I suspected, the holes in the bassoon didn't quite align, so I screwed the 3 that did and tried it.  I think th metal stem is a bit too long b/c I can barely reach F# while playing.  So like the dummy that I am, I ordered more stuff.  I don't currently have swabs or anything to clean the ( Read more... )

In guinea pig news: we have 6 boy and 3 girl babies.  I think we should keep the 3 baby girls and adopt out two of the daults (the two that don't seem to get along with the other pigs).  Of course, it would be funny to have a family of 5 guinea pigs when we are, in fact, a family of 5, but that is not on purpose ( Read more... )

I received my crutch and bassoon reeds today.  I'm a bit disappointed with the crutch.   It does not look like the picture.

The people that sent the reeds included two little packages on Jelly Belly jelly beans.  I find this amusing.

Received our refund today and I am mailing a certified check right now!!  I'm so excited, I should get it sometime next week!

Now I need to buy a crutch, a strap, and reeds!
