We were hoping that the girls would come home today, but their billiruben went up, not badly, but they were put under the lights.  We really knew deep down this would happen, but were all disappointed anyway.  We are well familiar with this scenario as it's very similar from the boys.  In fact, I did cry a little bit b/c I wanted them home.  Seems ( Read more... )

In guinea pig news: we have 6 boy and 3 girl babies.  I think we should keep the 3 baby girls and adopt out two of the daults (the two that don't seem to get along with the other pigs).  Of course, it would be funny to have a family of 5 guinea pigs when we are, in fact, a family of 5, but that is not on purpose ( Read more... )

Now that all of the babies are here, we have to start thinking of adopting them out.  My idea is to wait a week, sex them all, and start getting the word out of what we have.  I think I want to adopt two of the adults out and keep two of the babies, but I'm not sure if finding homes will work out that way.
