Yesterday was a bit of a dreary day although it wasn't that cold 13C/55.5F. In the morning we were woken up by cats chasing up and down the hall again. Mr Cee got up, but nothing seemed to be going on other than them running around, so he came back to bed again. There was fluff in the front room, so we're assuming they were fighting about something...
In the morning I had my Pilates class - the hall was really hot so I got even hotter than I usually do! LOL! It was a good workout as usual and my back appreciated it, but we ended up doing press ups at the end which I hate (only 6, but that's too many!).
In the afternoon I took it easy and was fairly lazy, although I did do some follow up stuff for the bellydance mentor. In the evening I had bellydance class which was fun and apparently I burned off over 300 calories in the hour. I ought to be very thin (I think I eat too much LOL!).
This morning I woke up to a message from my bellydance teacher asking if I was OK and sending a hug. I had no idea why she had sent it so asked and she thought I didn't look very happy when I arrived at class yesterday and was checking I was OK. She is such a contrast from my previous teacher who really didn't care as long as you turned up to class and has broken all contact with me since I left *shrugs* Anyhoo - I reassured her I was just knackered after Pilates and a disturbed night (thank you cats!), and I really enjoyed the class :)
Today I started by doing some cooking - I have a glut of carrots so I made a large portion of carrot and ginger soup and we had that for lunch and half has been frozen for another day. I've also started off refreshing the sourdough starter so that I can make bread in a couple of days.
The rest of the morning has been spent making up an Etsy stained glass order. Two glass leaves, which I shall spend the afternoon finishing as I have a busy week ahead. Later we are going on an early evening Nordic walk which should be fun as it's sunny today and from 4-5pm it should still be light and it's currently 14C/57F in my garden.
I have questions:
8. Which current or at least recent news story is the most interesting to you?
I find myself reading the headlines (or listening to them), but I seek out the more unusual/uplifting stories in the news as it's so depressing at the moment. I'm really intrigued by the breakthroughs made in helping people with spinal trauma to
walk again. So much hope there.
9. Would you rather ask for help with a difficult task, or figure it out for yourself?
I like to try and figure something out myself if possible, and these days there's so much help you can find on the Internet for various things that I don't often have to ask for help. If it's a physically difficult thing though (for example I can't open a jar) I get Mr Cee to help LOL!
The rest of the questions are
