It seems I've been horrible at updating my lovely lj... but nothing terribly exciting happened. Worked a LOT at both Chapters and Coles. It started off as just covering shifts at Coles but I found out they were looking for someone and so I requested a transfer at the end of October... I went to Coast Capital and they told me to apply online... so I went home and applied online to them and some herb/plant company lol. I also dropped my resume off at CIBC. Hopefully I get a call from SOMEONE.

I think I forgot because I've been so obsessed with a Ravelry group I joined called "Karma Yarn Swap". In the forums there are multiple threads where you can swap yarn. You basically would claim a yarn that you like that someone offered up with a "me please" and then you offer up a yarn that you have stashed for someone else to claim. One good ( Read more... )

So... I went to 88 Stitches today after work because I knew they weren't going to be open until like NEXT Tuesday or something and I NEEDED this set of 16" circular needles to make a hat for someone that I agreed to do a craft exchange type thing with.
