As I neared the end of the wide hallway, yellow smoke seeped from the sofet lighting along the walls. I dashed to the end and threw open the double doors into the next section of hallway, but the smoke was even worse ahead of me. Monday, March 26th:

The four of us started a tutoring service for young girls with mental powers. gnfnrf said we should charge 4$/tutor/student/day.

'We'd never make any money,' mcghiever pointed out.

'We will,' gnfnrf explained, 'because the tough cases will require four tutors at once to explain things properly.

'Like the girl with the ramp," said malcubed. I nodded.

Monday, Nov 6:

We played a primitive old arcade game in a dingy back room; it looked like pinball without all the moving parts. Lights flashed behind pictures of two alligators fighting each other. cuthalion told me he'd heard of a new version that had special red lights in different places so you could tell where the gators were biting.

Monday, September 11th:

I took an evening stroll with mcghiever and two guys I didn't recognize. We passed several blocks of quiet sidewalk shops and then slipped onto a dirt trail through the woods. Sunday, July 23rd:

gnfnrf, beltramgregor, and I helped mcghiever anchor the screens covering the vents into his attic. He'd had a mouse in recently, and didn't want any more. beltramgregor suggested duct tape would look best with the house, but gnfnrf and I both thought he should use a staple gun instead. I offered that he could borrow mine.
