I drove through town on my way to work. I ran two stop signs because I couldn't slow down. The brakes didn't do anything, and the car kept going even with my foot off the gas. Thursday, Feb 26th:

They felt more like warm, square hallways than steam tunnels, but we weren't disappointed. They were spacious and solid, and the smooth concrete wasn't even particularly dusty. beltramgregor lead our tour of the campus tunnel/vent system. I recognized the pretty girl at the admissions counter. She was a Mac alumnus, someone I'd never really met, but she stood out. Saturday, December 24th:

Strange candies shook into my hand from a plastic bottle. Miniature Nestle's Crunch bars mixed with the round shapes, hoping to absorb some of their mystique by association. I held out my hand and offered the candy to the woman nearby.
