Back from Istanbul. Had a wonderful time, except I hurt my knee and am now on sick leave for two weeks. I'll try to make a more full-rounded post later on. Meanwhile, let me just say that if you go to Istanbul and visit the Topkapı palace, which you should, don't forget the Archaeological Museum, especially if you (like me) aren't too into crowds. Three weeks late, I finally got my period. And it's funny, because of course it hurts and makes me tender, and I walk like a duck, and get thirsty all the time, and have to take pain killers that make me sleep all day.
