Hunter is doing better today. Limping only slightly. His appetite has gone back to what i'm used to it being.  He is active again and wanting to go outside with me like he normally is.
Just thougth I would let you know so you don't worry more.

In a matter of one week I went from having two kitties that seemed healthy to one kitty. Kylie was put to sleep last night and buried next to my other kitty Jasmine.

Saturday I noticed she was hibernating again. Sunday she had a fever and wouldn’t eat. Monday I took her Into the vet and they did blood work on her. They gave her something to hydrate ( Read more... )

ok.. My turn for an update.

Figure I better do it now for I leave in an hour to take the 4th cortizone shot between my two wrists. Blah.

I've had a cortizone shot every week for the past 3 weeks now. Everytime I have one my hand that gets the shot is basically very painful and useless for a good 72 hours before returning back to it's normal level ( Read more... )

Yesterday was a hard day.  Spent my last couple hours with Jasmine. Then drove to the vet and stayed in car with her for about 20 min. It was really hard saying goodbye to a family memeber.  I didn't go into the vet, I couldn't. Luckily Z was more than willing to help out. He took it pretty hard as well. Finally after a week of heavy consideration I made a decision on Jasmine. Ever since the vet told us what was wrong I’ve had it in my head something with her Kidney’s or something not right about her having surgery. My kitty, Jasmine has been..leaking (for lack of a better term) blood for about a week and a half now. I took her in the the vet last monday. They thought she had a UTI or kidney infection. So, poor stranger has been coming around every night. (Stray cat in my complex!)You can tell he's lost weight. He's no longer limping very much, but it still hurts him to walk on it.
