ok. so i've been really bad about updating and i'm not sure my hands are really up for it now but i have info to share.
On Dec. 5th I went to my Benifit Review Conference(BRC). The representation for both the austin company and my most recent company both agreed on one thing and one thing alone. That NEITHER are responsible for the damage to my hands. Even though the files state from the first company that it IS Carpal Tunnel, they claim because they released me back to duty and they had not seen me for 2 years that they are not responsible. Never mind the fact that i was not aware i was ABLE to see them even after I quit my job in austin. My current company states that Carpal tunnel could not have been caused on my most recent job. Never mind the fact that we were REQUIRED to work 60hrs a week. Yeah.. ok..
So.. Next step is Mediation. However the next available time for that won't be until Jan. 30th 2007. Another month.
Good news is that My company is finally going to start giving me my Long term disability checks. That will at least help with the income. I'm fortunate that Z is able to support us both. I don't like it that much, but i'm fortunate. Let me rephrase that. I like that he makes enough to be able to do it, I don't like that I'm unable to help out.
So, in other News. Things are going great with the munchkin and her mommy. I was pleasantly surprised when her mommy said hello to me. YAY. I'm very happy that things are going better with her. I think it's a great thing for the munchkin. Got to see Howard Teal for all of a min. But I think both of us felt a little akward considering the situation. Munchkin will be getting out of school on the 20th. So we will have her this weekend and then starting on the 20th until the 26. YAY.
Friday we have Z's xmas party. We do have munchkin this weekend. We arranged for her to have a sleep over with Annaley who's 8 now. Hard to believe that it's been 6 yrs I've known Her and her mom. ANyways, saturday we have my family's xmas thingy at my moms house. Sunday we are supposed to be cursed blessed with the preasence of the loy family. LOL.
Kylie (the cat) got sick for a bit. Had to take her into the vet twice in one week. First time they ran exrays cuz she would try and eat then spit the foot back out. They couldn't find anything. Second time they hooked her up to an IV and gave her a few shots because she hadn't been eating or drinking. The second vet said she had an upper respitory infection. Poor baby was weezing and sneezing a bunch. So. after 2 days of shuving med's down her throat and us ending up wearing most of it, I gave up on those. I got her to eat some canned food and that seemed to do the trick after just one day. Now she's back to normal and more affectionate than she was before...
Ok. that's it for now I guess..
