I feel pretty good about today's Latin quiz, mainly as a result of walking back across campus with three of my classmates and discussing our answers. Since all of us had nearly identical answers on the main part of the quiz, I'm fairly confident that I got a high-C/low-B. This is good ( Read more... )

Okay, so it turns out that the quiz I got back yesterday was actually a 10 point rather than a 12 point quiz. Which means my grade still isn't fabulous, but it's in the C-range and that's all that matters to me as it's a passing grade ( Read more... )

So pissed off at myself. Because I accidentally got "case" and "mood" mixed up on the last quiz, I wound up getting only 7.75 points out of a possible 12. Which drags my grade back below a C just before the midterm.

Just got back from Latin and the most recent quiz. I... actually feel vaguely good about this one, although I'm not hoping for much higher than a C. I aim my hopes low so that if I hit what I guess then I'll be pleased with myself, if I score higher I'll be pleasantly surprised, and if I score lower I won't be too disappointed.

Yeah, aim low!
