Fall semester begins today, and the insanity has already hit the town. It took me a good fifteen minutes this morning to go from my house to the campus, a trip that with normal traffic generally takes about ten. And when I say 'normal traffic,' what I mean is that the 3000 or whatever new students aren't all trying to figure out where the hell they are.
At any rate, I'm still waiting for two of my books. One is Student's Catullus, which I'm fairly sure is the main book for the course, and is supposed to arrive tomorrow at the earliest. The second is the specific Latin-English dictionary the instructor wants for the course, also scheduled to arrive tomorrow at the earliest. Forgive me if I'm hoping both arrive today and I'll have them for class tomorrow. At this point I only have one of the books - Cicero pro Caelio - and I have my doubts as to whether we'll hit that one immediately.
I'm contemplating attempting to write a bit today, relax a bit before class and all. Oddly enough, I almost want to write on "Ice-Cold" since (a) I've been mentally going through how Skyfire will explain the situation when directly asked and (b) I really really really want to get the Ratch/Star reunion written out. Because there are still secrets between them and I don't believe Ratch is happy his seeker's been playing Decepticon bad-ass for centuries upon centuries.
Meh, not sure yet. I just want my textbooks to arrive!!!

L to R: Sounder, Redd Alert, and Cudere. Yep, Redd is the result of breeding Teecee with Screams; Cudere is the second offspring of my dragons Flumine and Paluster. And now featuring my eggie twins (in that they're the same type of dragon and I picked them up approximately the same time)
ETA 12:17 EST: Well, got 90 new words added to "Ice-Cold." Go, me on the sloooooooow track XD Hopefully I won't be too killed by Latin this term to get some writing done on it at least during the morning times....
And back to GA this Saturday for an overnight stay. I only wish I could get the laundry done before we have to go... although I suppose I could do a load on Thursday evening. It'll mean less to have to do on Sunday, after all, and I can maybe get a little sewing in. I managed the bottom-most layer of Li's skirt yesterday, so there's not much more to go there. Then all that'll be left is my corset, her tattered skirt if she still so desires it, and her bustier-style corset. (And hon, maybe we should get a slightly shimmery/silken type fabric for it? Just a thought.)
