What the fuck?
Random question of utmost annoyance: Is anyone else having the devil's own time uploading documents to FF.net, especially within the past two days? I have been attempting to post my most recent piece - currently living only at katsukofic - and no matter what format I attempt I get a message saying "we cannot convert your document, please try again." I've gotten this message a minimum of 20 fucking times since noon yesterday, and I've sent a support request to the site admins. In the meantime, I've noticed that about 10 fics have updated just fine.
I would think I'd been temp-banned for some reason if not for the fact that (a) I uploaded "Hidden" - one of my milder pieces - there on Thursday with no problems and (b) I've gotten no "bad girl, no cookie" notifications.
Fuck, even a goddamned Notepad file could be converted, and that's as basic as basic gets!!
In my final, last-ditch effort to get this fucking story posted there today, I'm downloading that friggin' OpenOffice program that the site is always hawking. If I get no results that way... well, I suppose I'll send yet another support request to the site and update my profile again. And add that if this shit keeps up, I will just pull all my fucking fics and be done with the pit. There comes a time when enough is enough, and I am very quickly approaching that point.
