Ants bite, phones fly in Finnish summer bonanza

HELSINKI (Reuters) - They carry their wives, sit on ants, throw milking stools, boots and mobile phones -- here in the home of weird world championships, participants will do just about anything to win their offbeat crowns...

So Sunday night I went to Ralphs to buy a bus ticket. Well not one, but a pack of 10 individual 1 day tickets. For those of you unfamiliar with the bus system it is $1.25 each time you board a bus OR $3 for a day pass granting unlimited use of the bus system until midnight. So I went to see Jonathan Coulton last night with Jon. We got there WAY to early as I had feared traffic. I keep forgetting that LA is closer than Vegas. So we did laps up and down Hollywood Blvd and had a nice dinner at La Cantina and because we were so early we were in the 4th row. And we didnt get home and to sleep until 1 am. It looks like I wont be going to ComicCon as it is sold out on Saturday. I was rather late in deciding whether or not to go.
