I'm so close to the end, word-wise! Problem is, I'm even closer, story-wise. So I kind of have to pad the ending a bit, to push it up to the 50,000. I can undoubtedly do that, but boy is this story going to need some editing before it goes onto FF.net. Heehee! Ahem.

Yes, I'm still plowing away at the NaNo, and despite what my Word Meter says, I'm not quite at 50%. I'm 79 words short. But given the interference with my writing time the last few days, I'm still doing pretty well.

Just had Roy Mustang fall off a very, very high cliff.

Woo! Had an excellent writing day today. But of course, that's because I'm building up for the weekend. I suspect I may be slightly behind when I start next Monday. But still!

Not too shabby for four days' work. /smug

Lalalala! Still progressing. Actually, I'm trying to get a bit ahead, because I'll be meeting some friends on Saturday afternoon (and not writing, as I originally intended), and I often end up so tired I have to nap on Sunday. Or I just like to watch football games. So I'm trying to get ahead a bit. Which I am, by 668 words so far. Woo!

Wheeeee! I could get really obnoxious about this. But here's my word count after two days:



3741 / 50000 words. 7% done!

And the first chapter of the FMA story, which is tentatively entitled, "A Mere Lifetime," is here, at my kashiwrites journal.

I think I'm going to try this again this year. Of course -- I had to quit after less than a week last year because I was so busy with writing-for-income. And it's not like I'm not busy this year too.
