Dang, half a month without journaling. I guess that's a reflection on how busy life has gotten. I had my first free weekend in half a month last weekend - also a good reflection. Things have been good - really pretty awesome - but there's nothing really significant to detail.

So instead - a smorgasbord!

PAX was fantastic. I didn't win anything and we got boned by poor organization on the part of the PC Tournament organizers. Overall, though, I had a fucking fantastic time. So many nerds, pressed so close to each other.

It was pretty awesome.

So I haven't actually read LJ since Thanksgiving. Life has been getting in the way and such. My brother sounds like he's having a kick ass time out Japan way. I need to buckle down and avoid all sickness and vacation so I can get out there and hang out with him before it's too late. I think I'd need at least a week, preferably 10 days. Had my mom, step-dad, and sister up here for Thanksgiving along with numerous other folk. Managed to stuff 15 people around three tables in my house. The turkey turned out the best of any turkey I've made so far - rock. All the food was great ( Read more... )

I'm pretty bad about staying in touch with people. There's some that I talk with extremely regularly. Like zeke023 and Luke. And robyscots, up until she moved out here. Oh, and we got engaged.
