CR and archive, or What Karolina's Been Doing Oh God Why Is This So Long:
(OOC note: this section contains every single network conversation or log that K has participated in. Some stuff is fully threaded out, some is handwaved; I've chosen to include them all in my record of her CR and actions in XI. Feel free to tell me if I missed out anything that K did with your character :D)
When Karolina arrived at the Institute, she found her new roommate was the irrepressible and enthusiastic Megan, whom she later explored the school with. She also spoke to Milly, and they became friends and bonded over a last-minute shopping trip immediately. The idea of making vegan ice-cream for her schoolmates to try (and maybe spread the cause of veganism) was one that met with approval, but successful theatre tryouts and subsequent rehearsals, as well as a mentor group meeting, have kept her pretty busy. In the meantime she's made some new friends, like Yousuke and Lambo, as well as Teddy, Cassie and Eli, whom she met while doing her laundry.
When the space capsule crashed in the school's grounds she went to investigate it with Yousuke (and thus is at least partly responsible for the ensuing space rock mania). She's been mostly keeping her head down after the fiasco at her previous school, though, except for responding to occasional internet memes, talking politics with Edward (or trying to), discussing Fletcher's powers with him, or a game of Truth or Dare. She's found an old friend she knows from LA, Shin, and met with him to catch up on each other's lives. K didn't come out on Coming Out Day because she's not completely comfortable in her gay identity yet, and she doesn't see a need to announce her sexuality to everybody ever.
She had initial misgivings over homecoming (mainly over whether she needed a date, which would have been awkward), but her enthusiasm was roused by the prospect of another shopping trip, and she even ventured to ask Shin to come as her date (if only to convince him to come at all) and offer Temari help with makeup. Unforeseen awkwardness occurred when Russell asked her to be his date too, though. Homecoming itself was pretty fun; she ended up spending time with Shin, Yousuke (in a way) and Eli.
The televised mutant rights debate led to a conversation with Doug. Plans for a Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless have been made, with Ed and others contributing food or help. Karolina's been making new friends (and rediscovering old ones, in the case of Ella and Fiyero), such as Claire, or Bumblebee, whom she even offered to show around the school (and managed to convince to stay). That doesn't stop her from being worried about Milly, the very first friend she made when she came here.
She was complicit in Curfew Club 2.0, and the building of Al's pillow fort, and she had a fun Halloween with Shin and a bunch of friends. Not that she's had any time to rest after all that, since she also went on the field trip which turned into a disaster and ended up helping to fly out Hanabi and Claire (and being glad that Megan didn't go), as well as having to convince her parents to let her stay at the school after footage of the incident became public.
